I absolutely LOVE this story. I am still in tears after reading the last chapter. If only Draco was really that sweet.

You made me cry! I'm shocked, and in awe. You made me cry. Good God! Okay, this was a simply breathtaking story. The situations, the maturity, the snarky comments, I relished them. You wrote emotions fabulously, and not just the romance mind you. I'm amazed at how you put across the whole mother/son relationship and subsequent loss so sensitively, so eloquently. It was painful, and yet strong. I'm sorry I can't be more eloquent, as I'm quite speechless! Fantastic job.

That was GREAT! Really nicely written! The characters were great and their actions were always justified and made sense. Your writing flows naturally and always seems so professionnel, you can tell that you are a very talented author! I loved every chapter, from begining to end! This is without a doubt one of the best Draco/Hermione fics I have read in a loong time! (But you almost made me cry at the end! :) ) It all seemed so real! Please keep on writing, I'm a fan and I look forward to reading your future stories! P.S I just looved your pirate writing! :)

Oh, my. This is truly a great story. The romance between Hermione and Draco is a dream, something I can only hope to experience one day. But coupled with Draco's bittersweet loss, the story becomes very real. I hope you continue your writing because it's very beautiful.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, my sweet! I'm so thrilled that it touched you, and I appreciate your kind words and your encouragement. Thank you, thank you!

There should have been a tissue alert on this story. I was powerfully affected by what Narcissa and Draco lost. I would have said that she lost everything, but she was able to move on and now she seems to have a good life. Perhaps we should have more reminders that hope and love still exist in this world. The resilence of the human spirit is truly unique.
Author's Response: **hands NB a Kleenex** I'm so sorry for making you cry, my dear. I was intent on showing the ruthlessness of the Ministry in the face of public distrust, and that even in the face of adversity, one can overcome and find happiness and peace. Trained in "Slytherin ways," Draco was taught how to hide his emotions, yet I think, with maturity, he can allow himself the luxury of indulging in emotions with someone he trusts. And by doing so, he avoids becoming bitter. Thanks for reading, NB, and thanks for such a thoughtful and thought-provoking review.

This was an unbelieveable story. I was in tears as I read it, especially the last chapter. I adore the dialogue here - so natural that I could see it all happen in my mind. And the characterizations were spot on. I would go into raptures about this fic if I weren't so affected at the moment. Great job on yet another excellent fic.
Author's Response: Jawy... I can't begin to tell you how excited I am that you liked my story so much! That you were moved by it is far more than I ever could have asked, and such an overwhelming compliment. I'm relieved, too that the dialogue seems natural and not forced or OoC. Thanks so very much for reading, and for taking the time to share your thoughts with me!!

That was lovely. I loved Hermione and how she interacted not only with Draco but with Harry and Snape.
I loved that Draco is protecting his sister even if she doesn't know it.
Author's Response: Thanks, robin777! Family is so important to the Malfoys, and to Draco especially, that I can't see him doing anything less. I'm pleased you liked Hermione, too... I can't see her holding a grudge, especially in the face of Draco's obvious reformation. I really appreicate you taking the time to let me know your thoughts... it means a lot! Thanks again.
